Know God, experiencing His presence, share it with others…our ministries focus our community towards knowing God and making him known.
Elementary Children’s Programming
Our children ages 3-11 meet each Sunday under our tent for children’s church, which takes place during the first half of our Sunday service. We use the Hearts Alive childrens church curriculum, which helps the young ones engage with the same scripture passages and service rhythms that the adults follow.
Additionally, in March 2019 we will launch a nursery for children birth-3! Have questions? Contact Bailey Ramirez, our youth and children’s coordinator.
Middle/High School Programming
Our youth (Grades 6-12) meet every Sunday at 9:00 am at the Canterbury Retreat Center’s main lobby, and they then join the service at 10:15 am in the Chapel. Our Youth Volunteer Eduardo Ramirez, trained as a missionary in Baja Mexico, and then participated in Emmaus Ministries in 2018, learning his Bible from cover to cover.

Daughters of the King
This is a women’s ministry found in many Episcopal Churches. Women of all ages join together to pledge a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of our church.
The goal is to become reflections of God’s love and share this love with others. Interested in joining? Contact Linda Varney, our coordinator for this group.
We regularly hold 5-9 week long series on different books of the Bible, and on important topics relevant to growing as Christ followers. Classes are Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, in our main sanctuary. Kids 12 and up are encouraged to attend with the adults, and childcare for children 11 and under is provided. For more information, check out our Events page
Sunday Service Ministries
We have a variety of ministries who support our Sunday service from arranging the flowers to setting up the Alter to being greeters, musicians and more. Our service ministries provide a wonderful opportunity to connect and share.
We need your help to keep creating the sacred space for others to meet with God each Sunday morning. Visit our “How to Serve” page and get plugged in!
Food on the Fourth
On the 4th Sunday of each month we collect canned goods for needy families in Oviedo. The goods are given to Hope Helps, who distributes them to families in need. Please bring your canned goods!
Dinner Groups and Small Groups
In early 2019 we will launch dinner groups in homes across our city. These groups will be focussed on relationships and building Christian community. In fall of 2019 we will begin small groups as well, which will have more of an intentional emphasis on spiritual growth, accountability and Bible study. More to come soon!
Coming soon in 2019! We’re currently exploring outreach opportunities for our church, both in Oviedo and across the globe. More to come on this soon!
Canterbury Conference Center hosts a weekly mens gathering that attracts over 100 men (Forgebiblestudy.com). The event is every tuesday morning, 7-8 am. Dr. Pete Alwinson speaks, and then we gather around tables for a time of discussion. It’s absolutely worth the early morning effort.
